Years ago I realised I loved meeting people - we are curious creatures. I also love travel -it is beyond doubt that it enriches the soul. It’s not just about what we see with our eyes. Its about the sounds, smells and tastes of a destination. The senses come into play. I believe in sampling the food that you have never tried, talking to that stranger in a bar, even if you don’t think you have anything in common with them. Also going to see places you have only ever seen in a book or on a tv show. Returning to a destination you can always discover something new, if only buildings, monuments or those stones could talk. Oh the stories they could tell. My passion for history, tales, short and long and making dreams come true, has kept me in the travel industry as a travel director for over 30 years. I love it!
Born in New Zealand but attached to my suitcase whilst taking tours around the world. I have a love for Europe, the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand and I know there will be many more places to add to that. I still have a bucket list of destinations I want to sample and many places I want to return.
