Free day in Calgary and in the evening attend the Rangeland Derby and Grandstand show. That pounding of hooves and trembling of the ground can mean only one thing; the world’s premier Chuckwagon event has begun! Witness all the thrilling action. Races start nightly at 7:45 p.m. and are followed by the fan-favourite Relay Races and the world-famous Grandstand Show. For 2 hours, you will be dazzled by the lavishly produced and choreographed non-stop musical variety show.

Free morning and in the afternoon attend a three hour ground shaking showcase of world-class rodeo action at The Stampede. There are six exciting major rodeo events: bareback riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping and bull riding.

We travel north to experience a wealth of breathtaking scenery. Crystal blue-green lakes, fresh mountain streams, deep forests, and snow-capped mountain peaks are the order of the day. We then enter Jasper National Park pass the Athabasca River as it leads us into the town of Jasper. Orientation tour of the city, dinner at a local restaurant. Stay Jasper Inn and Suites (2 nights).

Today depart on a full day sightseeing tour of Jasper National Park; from awesome mountain peaks and century old glacial ice to flower carpeted meadows and mirror-like lakes. Sightseeing will include a walk at Maligne Canyon, visits to several beautiful lakes including a scenic cruise to world famous Spirit Island, the jewel of Maligne Lake. Also ride the Jasper Sky Tramway up the Whistler Mountains for stunning views.
