ITINERARY

Activity Level - 2. A higher level of mobility is required. Walking for 1-2 hours over a day and covering longer distances. Possible uneven terrain.

SAT 25 OCT - AUCKLAND/CHATHAM ISLANDS

Fly Air Chathams, depart 9.00am, arrive 12.00pm. Hotel Chatham. Stay 7 nights. Included: D

SUN 26 OCT - THE WILD WEST

Sightseeing tour includes Waitangi West Cattle Station, stunning white beaches, the stone cottage on the slopes of Maunganui, Cape Young and spectacular rock formations. Included: B, L, D

MON 27 OCT - OWENGA FISHING VILLAGE

Visit Kopinga Moriori Marae, enjoy a local fish factory tour and see the Tommy Solomon memorial statue. Included: B, L, D

TUE 28 OCT - WAITANGI TOWN/SOUTH COAST

Includes visits to the Chatham Island Museum, cottage gift shop and local jewellery art studio. Enjoy town walk and south coast scenic drive. Included: B, L, D

WED 29 OCT - KAINGAROA FISHING VILLAGE

Visit Kaingaroa township, Murisons Farm and see the fur seal colony. Enjoy viewing nikau bush, ocean mail scenic reserves and Hapupu Moriori tree carvings. Included: B, L, D

THU 30 OCT - TE WHANGA LAGOON

View the rock carvings at Nunuku’s Cave on the lagoon shore, search for shark teeth and visit Henga Scenic reserve and nursery. Included: B, L, D

FRI 31 OCT - PORT HUTT

Travel to Port Hutt, a beautiful deep water harbour home to another working fish factory. View the impressive Basalt Columns at Ohira Bay and enjoy a beach walk and tour of beautiful Admiral Gardens followed by a hosted dinner. Included: B, L, D

SAT 01 NOV - CHATHAM ISLANDS/AUCKLAND

This morning after breakfast, transfer to airport. Fly Air Chathams, depart 2.00pm, arrive 4.00pm. Included: B
