TUE 23 SEP - AUCKLAND/WELLINGTON

Depart Auckland on Air NZ at 1.10pm and arrive in Wellington at 2.20pm. Transfer to 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel. Stay Wellington 3 nights.

Included: afternoon tea of sweet and savoury treats, evening canapés with a selection of beverages in the Intercontinental Club Lounge.

WED 24 SEP - WAIRARAPA DAY TRIP, WINERY LUNCH

This morning, our first stop is at the Remutaka mountain summit (555 metres above sea level) to take in the panoramic views and visit the Remutaka Crossing monument which commemorates 60,000 New Zealand troops who made the military crossing from the military camp in Featherston to the Port of Wellington between 1915 - 1918. We then visit delightful Greytown and it’s historical buildings and tree-lined avenues. Many describe Greytown as the prettiest town in the North Island. Later we head to Tirohana Estate Vineyard for an included lunch. After lunch some free time in Martinborough, one of the country's prime wine regions. Its claim to fame is the exceptional quality of its Pinot Noir wines. Later we head back over the Remutaka range to Wellington. Included: B, L, evening canapés with a selection of beverages in the Intercontinental Club Lounge.

THU 25 SEP - FREE TIME, WOW SHOW

A free day to explore and shop and this evening we enter a fabulous new World - The ‘World of WearableArt Awards Show’. Enjoy an explosion of Creativity from your Platinum seats. WOW is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Included: B, afternoon tea of sweet and savoury treats, evening canapés with a selection of beverages in the Intercontinental Club Lounge.

FRI 26 SEP - WELLINGTON/AUCKLAND

Transfer to the airport for your Air NZ flight departing Wellington at 10.45am and arriving in Auckland at 11.50am. Included: B
